It’s just an hour’s drive from Da Nang, so we thought, why not? This place is perfect for taking stunning photos with the cultural beauty of Ao Dai and lotus flowers.

The Location

This magical place is just an hour’s drive by motorbike from Da Nang. It’s surrounded by mountains, giving it a hidden paradise feel.

Tips for Visiting

Our Experience

Our trip to the lotus fields near Da Nang was nothing short of magical. As we arrived, we were greeted by the sight of stunning lotus flowers in full bloom, surrounded by mountains. It truly felt like a hidden paradise.

Buying Lotus Flowers

One of the highlights of our visit was buying lotus flowers directly from the pond. We paid around 200K VND for 6 to 8 hand-picked lotus flowers. The lady at the pond was incredibly kind, allowing us to select the flowers ourselves and even wading into the water to cut them for us. This personal touch made the experience special.

Wearing Ao Dais

Nga and Thao wore beautiful Ao Dais designed and made by Nga herself. The vibrant colors and elegant designs of the Ao Dais perfectly complemented the serene beauty of the lotus flowers. It was like watching a piece of art come to life.

Capturing the Moments

Using our Sony A7CR camera and Sigma 35MM 1.4 lens, we were able to capture stunning, sharp images of Nga and Thao amidst the lotus flowers. The combination of the Ao Dais, the flowers, and the natural backdrop created breathtaking photos that we were thrilled to capture.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit the lotus fields is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The lighting during these times is perfect for photography, and the weather is cooler and more comfortable.
